The Future of U.S. Health Policy

November 29, 2016

On November 29, 2016, The Policy Lab hosted a conversation with guest journalist Margot Sanger-Katz as she discussed the future of health policy in the United States. Amanda Kowalski, Associate Professor of Economics and ISPS Faculty Fellow, moderated the public event.

Margot Sanger-Katz is a domestic correspondent at The New York Times, where she covers health care for The Upshot. She was previously a reporter at National Journal and the Concord Monitor, and an editor at Legal Affairs Magazine and the Yale Alumni Magazine. In 2014, she completed a Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Economics and Business Journalism at Columbia University. Her recent work focuses on health policy, but previous stories have included New Hampshire’s militia movement, the John McCain presidential campaign, Indiana’s fight over daylight saving time, and the death penalty.

The Policy Lab cosponsored the  event with ISPS Health and The Poynter Fellowship in Journalism.
