This Tuesday the Policy Lab concluded its fall semester workshop on “Fake News” with Senator Russ Feingold. The workshop met six times over the course of the semester to discuss the causes and consequences of Fake News, as well as potential steps that policymakers and the media might take to curb the problems posed by Fake News. Over the course of the semester, the workshop hosted several guests including nationally-renowned journalists and experts on the law and media. The Policy Lab will be holding a second workshop with Senator Feingold in the spring semester, so stay tuned for further announcements.
