The Policy Lab is excited to announce the formation of a new student working group focused on infrastructure policy in Connecticut. This project is a collaboration with the office of Connecticut State Senator Alex Bergstein, who represents the 36th district in the Connecticut State Senate. The goal of this working group is to evaluate the potential effectiveness of policies to improve infrastructure in Connecticut. This research will then be used to inform policymaking by the Connecticut state legislature. We invite applications from undergraduates who are interested in becoming a member of this student working group. The research will consist of using quantitative data to assess the viability of different approaches to improving infrastructure in Connecticut, and conducting qualitative assessments of approaches to infrastructure development that have been undertaken in different states. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in doing research that has a real world policy impact.
